Road trials are a Dalmatian specific event which allow Dals to demonstrate that they still have the coaching instinct for which they were originally bred.  A Road Trial has both an obedience and an endurance component and can be done with either a mounted or driving handler.  Dals are asked to demonstrate basic obedience, equine savy instinct and physical fitness.   At Woodwynd, we are strong believers that a dog should be able to do what he was bred to do and look darn good doing it.  We try to offer all as many of our Dals as possible the chance to demonstrate this skill.
